Designing Intention: Our Collaboration with Existence and Rob Dyrdek

When visionary entrepreneur Rob Dyrdek set out to launch Existence, an AI-powered platform designed to help people align the way they spend their time with who they want to be, he needed more than a landing page. He needed a digital experience capable of translating functionality and philosophy into feeling.

Our team partnered with Existence to design and build a scroll-driven landing page that makes abstract ideas—time, energy, intention—tangible through motion, rhythm, and space. The result is a sensory web experience that doesn’t just explain the product, it lets visitors feel it.

Turning an Idea into a Digital Narrative
As Rob Dyrdek shares, “It’s the strings of time that create who you are. When you identify those patterns and design them intentionally, you realize something simple but powerful: time is you — and you’re creating it. Being accountable to all time is being accountable to your real self.”

Existence is built around a profound premise: daily choices shape identity. To communicate this idea, we left behind the usual SaaS layouts of time management tools and built something that feels more transformational. Rather than feature grids or UI-heavy sections, we created a controlled scroll journey that unfolds in layers—from abstract emotion to concrete structure.

Every transition, color shift, and animation is intentionally paced. Visitors control their scroll, and the site breathes and reacts with their movement, echoing the app’s core belief in conscious, impactful decision-making.

Designing Rhythm Instead of Interface
Because Existence visualizes time and energy, we approached the landing page as an extension of the product’s logic.

Motion replaces interaction density; structure replaces UI chrome. Subtle animation cues establish tempo without distraction. Content appears only when it adds meaning. Generous spacing allows each idea to land before the next emerges. This restraint creates a calm, deliberate tone aligned with the brand’s promise of intentional living.

The outcome is a landing page that communicates system thinking through atmosphere rather than just features.

The Power of Quiet Design
Existence demanded visual weight without spectacle. We achieved this through:

  • Dark, textured backgrounds that create depth without noise
  • Minimal typography that appears only when necessary
  • Gradual gradients marking conceptual transitions
  • Clean sectioning with deliberate pacing

The effect is immersive yet restrained. Visitors can see the interface but are able to focus on the ideas behind it. In an industry often driven by visual excess, Existence demonstrates how calm can be more compelling than motion for its own sake.

A Scroll That Mirrors the Product
Each section of the site allows its own focus, as visitors see both the up-close detail and the larger themes, zoomed out. Existence helps users not take their time for granted, seeing how details build up to create their lived reality, and the website helps emulate the balance of focus and understanding.

We intentionally limited interactive elements. Nothing competes for attention; nothing interrupts the flow. Users continue because they choose to, reinforcing the brand’s message of agency and self-direction.

What This Project Represents for Our Studio
Our collaboration with Existence reflects a broader shift in digital product storytelling. As platforms become more conceptual and emotionally driven, websites must move beyond explanation toward experience.
This project demonstrates how design can:

  • Translate abstract philosophy into sensory form
  • Use pacing and motion to guide cognition
  • Express product logic without relying on UI
  • Create emotional clarity through restraint
  • For our team, Existence stands as a benchmark in experiential product design—proof that a single landing page can carry meaning, not just information.

Designing for Who Users Want to Become
Existence is ultimately about identity shaped over time. Our goal was to ensure the page embodied that same ethos: deliberate, reflective, and human-centered.

By aligning narrative structure, color psychology, motion, ambient soundtrack, and space with the platform’s philosophy, we created a launch experience that feels as intentional as the product itself.

We’re proud to have partnered with Existence and Rob Dyrdek to bring this vision to life—and to explore how digital design can help people see not just what a product does, but who they might become through it.

Let’s Design What’s Next
Existence challenged us to translate philosophy into experience and complexity into clarity. It’s the kind of work we’re most passionate about, helping visionary teams bring new ideas, products, and brands to life through intentional digital design.

Whether you’re looking to explain a complex concept through visual storytelling, launch a new product, or reimagine your brand from the ground up, our team of award-winning web design specialists would love to learn about your vision.

Let’s start the conversation.
