Edelman’s, a fourth-generation business specializing in gold and silver bullion, rare coins, and collectibles, needed a robust digital presence that honored its extensive knowledge, expertise, and deep-rooted history while also adapting to the modern marketplace.
Our collaboration began with the objective of capturing the passion that has fueled this family business for decades. Translating it into an online presence that drives sales and elevates the brand.
What followed was a visually beautiful website redesign and a dynamic and effective digital campaign that has transformed how Edelman’s reaches its local clientele.
Our design team developed the site's vision, color palettes, and typography without a brand book. We used dark colors and gold frames to convey richness and elegance. Inspired by the store’s 1920s decor, we weaved vintage elements and laurel leaves into the design. The design reinforces the brand as a high-end, classy, authentic dealer.
Our team in New Jersey conducted a photo shoot featuring Andrew Edelman handling precious items. Attention to detail was crucial due to the minute details of the products.
The session also included filming a bold video header for the homepage. The authentic images and videos are used across social media, website, content, and paid campaigns to enhance marketing collateral and make the most of every captured visual. And we managed all of that while sticking to the showroom’s strict security protocols during the shoot.
Every scroll draws the user’s attention, strategically highlighting key messages and calls to action. As you navigate down the page, your focus will naturally pause at the most critical information. The design employs visual transitions alongside micro-animations. The main sections are clearly organized, making it easy for users to get in touch, fill out forms, and find information without physically visiting the store.
Given our client’s mobile-heavy audience, a smooth and engaging mobile experience was crucial. Designing the mobile version of the website was challenging and required numerous iterations to perfect the animations and page transitions.
Our approach is twofold: targeting a specific geographic area and delivering highly personalized content. While this might seem straightforward, it requires a delicate balance. We must ensure our paid ads reach new customers without overwhelming existing ones with repetitive ads. Switching up keywords, locations, and ad copy keeps our campaigns fresh and engaging.
A turning point came when gold prices surged to an all-time high over the summer. We quickly adapted our paid ads and blog topics to capitalize on this opportunity, driving even more traffic to the website. This fluidity between ongoing client communication, content creation, and paid advertising is what made the campaign wildly successful—being adaptable and ready to seize on timely market trends.
The process began with a thorough audit of the site’s existing content. We worked directly with Andrew Edelman to update all blog articles, social media profiles, and local listings (LinkedIn, Yelp, Google, etc.), ensuring platform consistency.
Alt tags, meta descriptions, and relevant keywords were added for extended reach and visibility.
We collaborate with Andrew each month to identify engaging topics that align with our SEO strategy. Having grown up in the business alongside his grandfather and father, Andrew’s expertise in gold and silver bullion, rare coins, and collectibles is instrumental. Andrew’s articles, like one on the history of coins, resonate with investors and collectors and perform well in SEO.
Edelman's digital campaign is a shining example of how strategic SEO can transform a business. We delivered remarkable results by combining targeted paid campaigns with optimized organic search. Since launching the new website in January 2024, Edelman’s business has experienced a 55% increase in web traffic and a 24% increase in conversions each consecutive month.
SEO efforts have been particularly effective, with organic clicks from Google rising by 62.1% compared to the previous year's period.
Our digital campaigns, running on nine different platforms, deliver 286,000 impressions and 12,535 ad clicks monthly. These clicks lead to an average of 500 calls, emails, and contact form submissions by new customers every month. Edelman’s has achieved record-breaking sales for several consecutive months.
